deepdub is an Israeli startup company, headquartered in Tel Aviv. deepdub aims to bridge the language barrier and cultural gap of entertainment experiences to international audiences.

We provide high-quality seamless localization service of entertainment content using deep learning and AI algorithms. deepdub plugs into the post production process of content owners and takes complete ownership of all of their localization needs.

Ofir Krakowski

Ofir Krakowski co-founded deepdub in 2019, setting forth to revolutionize the entertainment industry by leveraging 30 years of computer science expertise and background in machine learning. Today he oversees the operations and development of the organization. Ofir’s long standing history in machine learning bloomed as the founder of the IDF Air Force machine learning and innovation department where he led the organization for 25 years, achieving the Ministry of Defense Highest Technological Medal award. His expertise combined with a passion for the potential of AI led him to develop and concept deepdub and their groundbreaking technological capabilities. Ofir is an MBA and B.Sc graduate of the Technion Israel University as well as the previous chairman of the board of the Technion Student association and Chairman of the Board of the IDF Ofek324 Alumni association.

Nir Krakowski

Nir co-founded deepdub in 2019, setting forth to revolutionize the entertainment industry by leveraging his 25 years of R&D expertise and an extensive entrepreneurial background. Today he oversees the technological development and advanced capabilities of the organization. Nir began his journey at a young age, mastering coding skills at the age of 14. He then started his coding career at the age of 16 and continued to graduate from the Israeli Elite Intelligence Services program called Aram. He joined the Israeli Security Agency also known as Shin Bet where he later assumed the role of Assistant Director of Cyber Division. Nir is the recipient of the Shin Bet Director’s Award of Excellence. Nir taught for 4 years the course Introduction to Information Security at Tel Aviv University which he created. As a Y-combinator alum and the Founder and Head of AramCon, the Aram alumni conference & meetup, Nir has utilized his history of startup success, vision and insight to create and co-found deepdub.

Chen Zarfati

Chen is deepdub's VP Research, in his role he oversees the research, leveraging his rich experience in deep learning, language modeling, and signal processing.
Chen's team is responsible for the jaw dropping capabilities of deepdub and supporting the vision of providing exceptional dubbing experiences to the world.
Prior to deepdub, Chen worked at Citigroup Innovation Lab, and led many cutting edge projects that impact core businesses at scale, among which was a high-fidelity automated email system that serves millions of emails, queries, in over 160 countries. Chen also consulted for multiple projects groups and business units, as well as the Citi accelerator companies, and the internal entrepreneurship program. Before working at Citibank, Chen worked at Intel Cognitive Computing Group where he developed new models that encompassed various fields of machine learning. At Intel Chen was responsible for the group's knowledge sessions, and its open source project to enable high cognition applications over ROS (Robotic Operation System).
Chen holds two academic degrees in Economics and Computer Science from the Technion, specializing in data science.

Emiliano Calemzuk

Mr. Calemzuk serves as the chairman of deepdub's advisory board and is the Lead Independent Board Director for Mercado Libre (NASDAQ: MELI), Latin America’s most valuable tech company. Mr Calemzuk was a 2X tech entrepreneur between 2012 and 2020 with his latest venture, Raze, acquired by Turner in July 2020. Between 1998 and 2012 Mr Calemzuk had a successful career at News Corporation/Fox. He last served as CEO of Shine Group Americas (Unit of 21st Century Fox) from September 2010 to January 2012. From 2007 to 2010, Calemzuk served as President of Fox Television Studios. Prior to joining Fox Television Studios, Calemzuk was President of Fox International Channels Europe, based in Rome from 2002 to 2007. Before working in Italy, Calemzuk was based in Los Angeles where he served as Vice President and Deputy Managing Director of Fox Latin American Channels overseeing all operating divisions of Fox across 19 countries. Born in 1973 in Mar del Plata, Argentina, Calemzuk is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Eran Etam

Mr. Etam serves on deepdub's advisory board and is the co-founder and CTO of Kaltura, a leader in video streaming services.
Mr. Etam was a co-founder and the VP R&D of ICQ, the world's first Instant messenger, which was acquired by AOL for $407M in 1998. After holding a VP position in AOL, Etam served as an R&D advisor at the MoD technology division. Etam started several other Internet startups before co-founding Kaltura on September of 2006. Eran holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University

Kevin Reilly

Mr. Reilly was most recently Chief Content Officer for WarnerMedia’s direct-to-consumer service HBOMax from 2018 to 2020 and President of TNT, TBS and Chief Creative Officer for Turner Entertainment from 2014 to 2020. Prior to Turner, Mr. Reilly served as President of Entertainment at Fox Broadcasting Company from 2007 to 2012 and Chairman of Entertainment from 2012 to 2014. Prior to Fox, Mr. Reilly was President of Entertainment at NBC from 2003 to 2007. Previously, Mr.Reilly was President of Entertainment for FX Networks from 2000 to 2003, President of Television at Brillstein-Grey Entertainment from 1994 to 2000, and worked in several roles at NBC from 1994 to 1998 including Vice President of Drama Development. Mr. Reilly graduated from Cornell University and is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He is also on the board of trustees for the American Film Institute.

Nitzan Danon

Mr. Danon serves on deepdub's advisory board and has been responsible for creating thousands of sound tracks for film and tv series since 1996 when he founded Jungle Sound and has been serving as its CEO ever since. Danon is also the Founder of Shortcut Playground one of the largest full service creative agencies in Israel. Launched in 1996 SCPG provides post production services, including: branding, packaging, on-air promotion, animated content and full consultancy assistants over a wide range of media platforms.
