Yes we know.

We've heard it before.

You told us.

You said it's needed.

You said you wanted to hear more.

You said you had questions.

And so, we finally got to it!

We're happy to let you know that we are hereby launching our new blog with plans to continue and use this platform for future announcements, big news, and stories related to what we do at Deepdub.

“Start small, think big. Don’t worry about too many things at once. Take a handful of simple things to begin with, and then progress to more complex ones. Think about not just tomorrow, but the future. Put a ding in the universe.” — Steve Jobs

Deepdub was officially founded in 2019, but it was incepted a couple of years earlier in a shared office space in Tel Aviv. Two brothers, Ofir & Nir, were throwing ideas into the air, brainstorming how to harness the power of artificial intelligence and deep learning networks, to the benefit of large groups of people around the world. At that time, they already possessed decades of experience in machine learning, AI, technology management, and entrepreneurship.

The time was ripe for them to join forces and bring to the market something of their own creation, a new company that would change the world, a startup that would put a dent in the universe. Deepdub was created.

Deepdub aims to bridge the language barrier and cultural gap of entertainment experiences through high-quality localization at scale.

Deepdub offers a revolutionary dubbing solution that is powered by AI and advanced deep learning algorithms. Working with studios, broadcasters, and distributors, we offer a full end-to-end service to all of their localization needs - from translation & adaptation, continuing to dialogue creation, and finishing with the final mix.

Deepdub end-to-end process

Back in December 2021 the company announced a large deal with US-based streaming platform, Topic.com, to dub dozens of known titles into English. This included some extremely prominent titles such as "The Bridge", "The Killing" and others, that have never been dubbed before to English.

A month later, in January 2022, the company announced the closing of a $20M series A funding round, led by Insight Partners, with the participation of the seed investors and other significant angel investors who joined the round.

We've been hard at work ever since, growing our team with top talent and extending our relationships with the industry. We even upgrade our offices to a new location in Tel Aviv and have been named one of the Top 20 Most Promising Startups in Israel for 2022 by TheMarker magazine.

So now you're pretty much up-to-date with everything going on in our world. Stay tuned for upcoming news and updates - coming real soon ;)
